The IO1 speakers have Airplay 2, Chromecast and Spotify Connect built in. So, you can wirelessly play across your network via your Android or IOS device. You can also use Multi-room Audio with other Airplay 2 or Chromecast speakers! The IO1 also has Bluetooth and Optical inputs for you to use to connect an independent source.

So as an Optical input is a fixed volume rate, this means that the volume will not be able to change via the connected device like a TV. You will need to adjust the volume via the Lithe Audio APP using the volume bar to adjust,

You can only have one Passive IO1 connected to the Master IO1. If you want more IO1 speakers, you will need 1 Passive for 1 Master and then you can group all the speakers via Airplay and Chromecast to have them play at unison. Example 4 speaker setup: Require 2 Pairs (Master + Slave)

We recommend a pair of IO1 speakers, you shall need a pair of IO1 speakers if you want stereo audio in rooms/spaces of 4m x 4m, to 7m x 5m.  The same applies outdoors. Using the Lithe Audio APP, you can adjust the EQ settings for the IO1 speaker. There are presets which we have fine tuned which are Outdoor, Indoor and Pendent. So, depending how you have your speaker setup, select the corresponding Preset. You can also adjust the Treble and pitch for further tuning.

Yes, our IO1 speaker is IPX6 rated, so can be left outdoors fully weather proof.
