  • My device won't connect to WiFi speaker?
  • Check the power to the speaker is turned on, standby red light should flash. If not check connection and try again. Goto Settings>Wi-Fi and make sure your network is the same as the speaker when setup if turned off turn Wi-Fi ON. Toggle WiFi on and off, to refresh the connection. Try a hard reset, Press and hold sleep/wake button and home button at the same time, wait for a few seconds for the device to reboot.
  • Why does my speakers connection keep disconnecting?
  • There a number of reasons why the WiFi connection is disconnecting here are the most common: Interference from other devices operating within 2.4GHz or 5 GHz band. Such as Microwaves, cameras, LCD displays, etc.. Too many apps open within your device, causing interruptions to service, close down unused apps. Dead spots in your WiFi. Low battery on your device, charge your device Obstructions between router and speaker such as: Low interference: Wood, Glass Medium interference: Bricks, Marble High interference: Plaster, Concrete, Metal To reduce the number of disconnections please try: Adding WiFi signal router or booster to improve WiFi strength Download an app ARSignalMaster this will show you where you have signal loss. Update device firmware if available
  • My speaker is found but not showing on the room list?
  • This is due to the speaker being part of room group, the master speaker of the group may not be connected or powered. Please check the connections to the master speaker, within the app you shall be prompted whether to wait or release the speaker as a single master speaker.
  • My speaker is making a humming noise?
  • Have you connected an RCA cable into the speaker from a source such as TV, if so the noise is coming from the cable, have you a shielded cable, if not, suggest buying a ground loop isolator to suppress the noise from the cable, you can find that item on our website using SKU:01276
  • How to adjust volume via RCA input from TV?
  • To connect a TV to a speaker via RCA cable, you shall need a Phono (red/white) to 3.5mm jack. Having the 3.5mm jack shall allow you to adjust volume by your tv remote, if you connect phono into the TV, within the app adjust the volume of speakers accordingly.
  • RCA cable is connected but no sound?
  • Within the Lithe Audio app, select the speaker that you would like audio through. Select the source and slide AUX to the on position, audio shall now play through the RCA connection.
  • Can the WiFi speakers act as stereo pair without speaker wire?
  • Yes, you will need 2 master WiFi speakers, within Lithe Audio app group the 2 speakers to one, and within settings change the speaker to be left or right speaker and SAVE.
  • How to connect WiFi speakers to Amazon Alexa dot?
  • Yes, connect the RCA cable into the Alexa, within app select AUX source and turn on. Soon the Alexa skill shall be activated via a firmware update more information to follow.
  • What sources can I select within Lithe Audio app?
  • For multi room useability the app has Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, Tune in and vtuner as cloud music services. In addition the app plays local sources ssuch as local music stored on your device, network storage stored on a NAS drive connected to your home network and AUX input for hard wired connection to TV, Alexa, cd player etc..
  • Which devices are the speaker app compatible with?
  • The Lithe Audio WiFi speakers have their own IOS and Android apps, free to download and are able to be used on windows platform organicly and are shown a music players.
  • Will the WiFi speakers go out of date over time?
  • No, the speakers are updated dynamically by the cloud using the Lithe Audio app, when updates are available you shall get a prompt to download the latest firmware.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • What size hole do i need to cut in the ceiling?
  • A 210mm diameter hole is required to fit the ceiling speaker, a cutting template is supplied within the box as a guide to cutting.
  • What is the depth required of the WiFi ceiling speakers?
  • The depth required is 94mm, approx 3.7".
  • Are the WiFi speakers easy to wire to mains supply?
  • Yes, you can connect the power supply via the supplied plug into the main socket OR connect to lighting circuit either existing ceiling rose or junction box by wiring in a single plug socket or terminating the plug to a fused spur, with a 3A rated fuse. (Make sure that the live is not connected to the switched Live otherwise the speakers will only become active when switching on lights) All electrical wiring must be done by a qualified electrician to avoid damage to the product and for your safety.
  • Do the speakers need to be connected to separate amplifier?
  • The speaker requires NO additional amplifiers, router, controllers, mainframes, all you need is within the box. Saving you space and money, Just connect power.
  • Does the additional passive speaker need wiring?
  • Yes, the passive slave speaker needs connecting to the master Bluetooth ceiling speaker, if purchased as a pair, 5m length of speaker cable is supplied. Ensure the speaker cable "+" and "-" are connected to the back of the master and slave speaker posts correctly.
  • Can the WiFi ceiling speaker be used in the bathroom?
  • No our bathroom rated version LBT/IP is IP44 rated is only avabilbe with Bluetooth. Do not place speaker directly above the shower unit, bath, sinks or radiators.
  • Do i need a speaker fire hood fitted?
  • Yes, to meet building regulations and for your peace of mind, we always insist on this, as per instructions. You can find these on our website.
  • What is the typical number of speakers per room needed?
  • For a typical room we suggest a pair for the fullest sound, but in bedrooms or bathrooms a single speaker shall be more than adequate. Larger rooms the posibilities are endless from 2 pairs to 6 pairs in a room, its entirley up to you.
